Review: SYTYCD australia

Been watching SYTYCD australia the whole weekend. Finally managed to download all the episodes into my comp(torrents finally working). If you are asking.. what you mean whole weekend.. 6 eps onli ma.. well, im sure some of you know by now that.. i tend to watch it over and over again! haha

Thoughts on it so far: I LURVE IT!
it makes me feel like im back in melb again. I think the thing i love most about it is the aussie accent... i absolutely love it! especially when demi said the words: 'Australia needs to know that i can RIP IT!'

dancers: I have to say the standard is pretty high, well not as high as america of course.. but.. really good!The guys needs to work on their lifts, i think the girls are getting better.. so yeah.. no complaints

Choreos: Didnt quite like the hip hop routine personaly, LOVED the waltz. And im really feeling the bugaloo(or boogaloo). didnt like the jive(and the costumes together with it) lyrical hip hop was pretty amazing. All in all, i think the choreographers are really high quality(apart from hip hop, still think shane sparks and dave scott are amazing)

Judges: The thing that i didnt quite like about the judges was that they complimented each and every dance and gave just about.. each and every dancer false hope. Just think about khaly and courtney(who got kicked out), the judges said words like "you got a long way to go" and things like that... i think the judges need to be a bit more.. strict.. either that or the judges dont reli know anything about it. I do miss Mary's scream a bit and Nigel's english accent. Ithink the american versions judges are more entertaining.. then again. its only the early stages of competition.. cant say much!

host: nah.. dont like the host.. i prefer cat deely so much better.. i miss her pronunciation of judges as 'joodges'.

overall, thought the show was great! absolutely love it! i love how they play typical aussie music here and there! love it how they manage to capture the contestants emotions better than the american version(either that or the background of each dancers are much more interesting in australia) love it love it love the aussie accent!

alrite.. time for my thoughts on some of the dancers

Demi(my favourite at the moment). just absolutely lovin her.. great personality.. great great smile.. dances well! absolutely loving it! i would compare her with sara from the american version.. though they are a bit diff.. same same.. but different!

Hilton: i actually really like him and i think he is versatile.. but.. i think he might have accidently cursed too much.. to find out more..

Henry.. reminds me a bit of pasha.. for some unknown reason! think out of all. he has a definite abvantage as i think he is the only one who is true ballroom ? for the guys? correct me if im wrong.. and i saw some footages of him doing jazz and hip hop.. not too bad!

JD. Pats favourite if im not mistaken.. somehow.. not quite feeling this guy.. maybe its too early to say.. but... not much personality.. rather blank.. interesting background though!Nevertheless, great dancer.. just.. not sure how he will do when it comes to ballroom

Stephanie.. reminds me of anya(just much more hotter)

Rhys.. absolutely love him.. absolutely love him and the waltz(thought it was the best routine of the week,that... and the bugaloo)He is also a friend of tutor Olivia.. apparently they used to work in some cafe in crown or something like that.. and they would move the tables after work and dance and olivia used to get dragged to watch his drag shows and stuff...

Vanessa: reminds me of jamie.. but.. too innocent and too nice for my liking.. (the high pitch voice does not do it for me either)Still.. really good at what she does.. really extends her lines and all

Rhianon.. HOT HOT HOT! (apart from the huge forehead) and kate reminds me of.. alison and lauren.. and man.. i loved alison and lauren.. some how feel that im gonna love rhianon as well... i think she was the only one that you didnt reli get to see until ep 5.. couz she basicaly just breezed through everything without much problems!

Sermsah: Pretty good apart from the lift..not sure how he will do when it comes to ballroom though

Jemma jack and camilla: somehow seem reli versatile.. but.. havent made any conclusions for them... they definitely have potential though

Kassy Laura marco, anthony and graeme: not quite doing it for me for some reason.. then again.. its too early to make assumptions..

Think thats about everyone.. as for khaly and courtney.. they are already out so im not gonna go on about them.. all i have to say.. yeah.. right choice that australia and the judges made...
