The bucket list...

gone are the days that i look forward to the next big hit movie, the next action blockbuster, the next 'most expensive' movie etc... just doesnt seem to strike me as it used to...

dont get me wrong, i still get around to watching them eventually, and nothing can/will keep me away from my chick flicks and rom coms, but somehow the movies that i enjoy the most are ... more dramatic? or, just movies that people my age wouldnt really enjoy

some recent examples might be the great debaters, freedom writers, pursuit of happyness, last king of scotland etc. I just enjoy this sorta movies much more these days, i dont need no 30 million actress, few hundred million budget sorta movie... all i need is awesome acting, and an awesome script...

so here it is, the bucket list... not sure whether you have watched it, not sure whether you will enjoy it... but i did... thought it had some subtle humour in it, and... its just a movie that makes you think, or in this case, made me think about myself after watching it...

Dont think i loved the movie that much to the point that i will watch it again in the near future... but im pretty sure ill watch it again when i turn 55, or 60 , or put it simply.. when i get much older...

if you are wondering why then and not now? well.. go watch it and you'll find out

i actually really enjoyed this movie. Heart warming.
Especially the bit about coffee right at the end. hehe...

Another movie that i love that is a bit similar to bucket list is Secondhand Lions. It's got a bit more action adventure in it but same general thread.

Came out quite a while back though...

I enjoyed Bucket List too altho it's a bit slow paced at times :) I think the greatest impact that a movie can have is the message that it carries across, one which leaves its audience often with a lingering thought. Blockbusters? Overrated lah!!
